Alterations
Tier 1 - Getting Your Wedding Dress Aisle Ready
Your wedding dress is nearly a perfect fit – congratulations! You just need a few finishing touches before you make your bridal debut to ensure your dress is comfortable from ceremony to reception. Our Tier 1 bridal alterations typically include a hem, bustle, and minor alterations, such as a strap adjustment or bodice lift to create a fit that feels secure.
Tier 2 - A Few Stitches Away From the Perfect Fit
You found your dream dress, now let’s create your dream fit! Whether your gown is feeling a little tight here or a little loose there, fear not. Fabric is flexible, and our Tier 2 bridal alterations will ensure that your signature wedding gown fits like a glove by the time we are finished with the alterations process.
Every bride has a unique body type, and while some brides may need their wedding dress to be taken in, other brides may need their dress to be let out at the seams. We are also able to shorten the waist of a wedding dress to match the proportions of our individual bride’s body types.
Standard adjustments to the body and fit of your wedding dress fall under our Tier 2 bridal alterations. Please note that our alterations specialists can typically accommodate standard resizing up to two sizes within the dresses true size. Alterations requiring adjustments outside of this standard resizing range may be possible but will fall under Tier 3 bridal alterations, depending on the intensity of alterations required to maintain the integrity of the dress.
Example: Tier 2 bridal alterations would be recommended for a size 14 bride who purchased a size 16 dress to accommodate bust measurements but still needs the waist and hips of the dress to fit as a size 14.
Tier 3 - A Perfect Fit in Progress
The gown you have just won’t cut it – it’s time for a total alterations makeover to transform this wedding dress into a signature bridal style that will make you feel confident when you step into the aisle. Our Tier 3 bridal alterations are reserved for those body and fit adjustments that fall outside of the standard two-size resizing range, requiring a total remake of the proportions and framework of the wedding gown.
Example: Tier 3 bridal alterations would be recommended for a bride who purchased a size 14 dress but is currently a size 8 and needs the dress to be taken in three sizes.
Tier 4 - Couture Wedding Dress Customizations
Your wedding dress is a blank canvas, and our couture wedding dress customizations offer you an opportunity to collaborate with us as we transform your gown into a signature bridal style that feels quintessentially YOU.
Whether you are trying to achieve an editorial elegance by incorporating a silk chiffon cape into your bridal ensemble, or you want add an avant garde touch with the addition of some intricate beadwork on the bodice of your dress, our goal is to help you create a heirloom-quality wedding gown that can be savored for centuries. Custom Reception Dress
Make a grand entrance…again! For our Summer brides who have always dreamed of saying “I DO” in a ball gown and our brides who need a dress they can get it low in during the reception, we understand that sometimes one gown just can’t do it all. From first sketch to final stitch, we offer a bride-first approach to designing custom bridal attire for every occasion.
Please note this service requires a minimum 6 month time frame.
Day-Of Bridal Styling
Wardrobe malfunctions? Not on our watch. Sit back, relax, and sip on something sweet while you and your bridal party worry about getting all glammed up. Meanwhile, our team will ensure that all of the dresses are steamed, prepped, and aisle ready. Available for 4-6 hour time slots, you can also count on us to style your dress for portraits, bustle your gown before the reception, and be on standby with an emergency sewing kit.
